Terms of Use

The plain-language rules for using BrightPath Kids Co and our printable life skills curriculum.

Last updated: July 4, 2026 Effective for: brightpathkidsco.com

1Acceptance of these terms

By visiting brightpathkidsco.com, purchasing our curriculum, or otherwise using anything we make ("the Site," "our materials," "BrightPath Kids"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site or purchase our products. We may update these terms from time to time β€” see Section 14 for how we handle that.

These terms are between you and BrightPath Kids Co ("we," "us," "our"), operated by [legal business name / sole proprietor name], based in [city/province, Philippines].

2Who we are & what we offer

BrightPath Kids Co creates printable life skills materials for parents to use at home with their children. Our flagship product is a 12-month printable life skills curriculum, delivered as a downloadable digital file.

Our materials are designed as a home practice companion β€” they're not a substitute for professional educational, medical, developmental, or therapeutic services. See Section 10 for more on this.

3Your account & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase from us. If you're browsing or downloading materials on behalf of a school, clinic, or organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

You're responsible for keeping any login details, download links, or receipts you receive from us secure, and for all activity that happens using them.

4Ordering & payment

Prices are listed in Philippine Pesos (β‚±) unless stated otherwise, and are shown at checkout before you pay. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout (which may include GCash, cards, and online banking via our payment partners).

  • All prices include any taxes we're required to collect, unless we state otherwise.
  • We may run limited-time pricing or bundle offers; the price you pay is the one shown at the time you complete checkout.
  • Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed β€” you'll receive a confirmation and access instructions by email.

5Digital delivery

Our curriculum is delivered digitally β€” there is no physical shipment. After your payment is confirmed, you'll receive access via email, typically within [X minutes/hours]. It's your responsibility to provide an accurate email address and to check your spam or promotions folder if you don't see it.

If you don't receive your materials within 24 hours of payment, contact us at the email in Section 16 and we'll sort it out.

6Your license to use the curriculum

When you purchase our curriculum, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to:

  • Download and keep a personal copy of the materials.
  • Print the materials for use within your own household, for your own children.
  • If you're an educator or therapist, print copies for use with the specific students or clients in your direct care, for non-commercial classroom or session use.

This license does not transfer ownership of the materials to you β€” we retain full ownership and copyright. See Section 7 for what's off-limits.

7What you may not do

To keep this fair for everyone (including the families who paid full price), you agree not to:

  • Resell, sublicense, rent, or share the curriculum files with anyone outside your household or direct care, whether for free or for payment.
  • Upload the materials to file-sharing sites, group drives, Facebook groups, or any other platform where people who haven't purchased could access them.
  • Modify, rebrand, or claim the materials as your own work, or use them to create a competing product.
  • Use any part of our curriculum, branding, or copy to train an AI model, or scrape our Site for that purpose.

If we find your license is being used this way, we may suspend your access and pursue the matter under applicable copyright law.

8Refunds & cancellations

Because our curriculum is a digital product delivered instantly, we generally don't offer refunds once the download link has been sent β€” this is standard practice for digital goods and helps protect the value of the materials for everyone who's purchased.

Founder's note for Dennis: Fill in your actual policy here β€” e.g. a "7-day no-questions-asked guarantee" if you're offering one for launch, or the no-refund-for-digital-goods stance above. Whichever you pick, state it clearly on your sales/checkout page too, since PH consumer protection rules expect refund terms to be visible before purchase, not just buried in the Terms.

If you were charged in error, charged twice, or never received your materials, contact us β€” we'll make it right.

9Intellectual property

Everything on the Site and in our materials β€” the curriculum content, worksheets, illustrations, layouts, copy, logo, and the BrightPath Kids name β€” is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these terms gives you rights to our brand or IP beyond the personal-use license in Section 6.

10Educational purpose & disclaimer

Our curriculum is intended as a general life skills resource for use at home. It is not a medical, psychological, developmental, or therapeutic assessment or treatment, and it's not designed to diagnose or address any specific learning difference, disability, or condition.

If your child is receiving professional educational, medical, or therapeutic support, our materials are meant to complement β€” not replace β€” that guidance. Always follow the advice of your child's qualified provider, especially if any activity in our materials doesn't seem to fit your child's needs.

11Limitation of liability

We work hard to make sure our materials are useful, accurate, and age-appropriate, but we provide them "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrightPath Kids Co is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our materials, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited under Philippine law.

12Privacy

How we collect, use, and protect your information β€” including payment and contact details collected at checkout β€” is covered in our [Privacy Policy β€” link here], which forms part of these Terms of Use.

13Third-party links & services

Our checkout, payment processing, and email delivery are handled by third-party providers (such as our payment gateway and email platform). We're not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service linked from ours.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use as our products or policies evolve. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the Site or our materials after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

15Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Site will be handled in the courts of [your city/province], Philippines.
